On April 12 & 13 we hosted our annual service school at our corporate offices and main factory in Springdale, Arkansas. We had around 40 of our authorized service providers in attendance who traveled across the US and Canada to be there. The attendees were split up into several small groups for more "hands on" question and answer time. Some of the classroom topics covered were: |

We have had such a mild winter that I didn't think we'd see much snow in Arkansas this year! We woke up this morning to some big snowflakes falling, and it's even sticking a little bit. We're off to a great start in 2013. January & February have been very busy months for us, and we have done some hiring in manufacturing to keep our lead times in check. Thank you to all of our customers for making this possible. I hope that we are serving you well! If equipment orders are any indicator, we must be doing something right... |

We have been an active participant in the local United Way for well over 20 years. Last year we were the 15th largest contributor in our area. This is pretty impressive when you consider that we're in the same region as industry giants like Wal-Mart, Tyson Foods, and JB Hunt Transport! |

We are all ready for the big Halloween holiday here today! We've got our offices decorated, we had a chili potluck for lunch, and very shortly we will have lots of little ghouls and goblins roaming the halls! We always enjoy an opportunity to share good times, good food, and get the entire Cram-A-Lot family together! |

Thanks to the feedback from a few of our customers, we have recently made a design change to the roofs of our self-contained compactors and octagonal receivers. I affectionately call it the Cram-A-Lot Tip Top roof. Our old roof design was flat, and the sheet steel used to make it was often a little wavy. This "waviness" would cause water to stand or pool on top of the roof. In coastal regions the salt water would eventually take its toll on the coating and sheet steel. |

This video features Ceasare Gentile of the New York City Housing Authority demonstrating a Cram-A-Lot precrusher and two Cram-A-Lot self-contained compactors with cart tippers that were installed at the Linden Houses in Brooklyn. "NYCHA took a tour with residents from Washington Houses on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 to the Linden Houses in Brooklyn to look at compactors similar to what will be installed at the Washington Houses. The residents were impressed at how clean and relatively quiet the compactors were." |

If you are shopping for a self-contained compactor, there is an important design element you need to be aware of: the single piece floor. |

We're just starting our third day at Waste Expo 2012 in Las Vegas. The show has been a great success, thank you to all of our current and future customers who took time to stop by the booth. We were extremely busy on Tuesday and Wednesday talking to customers and showing off our products. The majority of the Cram-A-Lot team is headed home today, but Stan Acuff, Debbie Wethers, and Doug Hardman will be staying today to greet customers and dismantle the booth. Safe travels to all and thanks for a great Waste Expo 2012! |

After 4 months of hard work our new paint facility is operational. Here is a picture of our first machine coming out, an SC-02-30 self-contained compactor. |
